Elena is a Masters candidate at Teachers College, Columbia University in the Comparative & International Education program. She received her B.A. in English Literature and Media Studies from Scripps College. Elena has taught literature courses, led creative writing workshops, and tutored various age groups. Originally from southern California, Elena resides on the Upper West Side, where she enjoys spending time in Central Park and exploring the city with her friends and loved ones.
