Partnerships Director, Bookmobile
Jeff Waxman cut his teeth as bookseller, buyer, and blogger at the Seminary Co-op’s 57th Street Books in Chicago. Over the last decade he has worked in sales, marketing, and promotions on behalf of a slew of indie presses (like Other Press and Restless Books), scholarly presses (notably, the University of Chicago Press), and magazines (most recently, The Baffler), hosting dozens of events in cities across the country. He also produced two notable seasons of Book/Plate (a well-received literary dinner series in Brooklyn) and has written occasionally for a number of blogs and journals (like The Quarterly Conversation, Three Percent, and The Review of Contemporary Fiction) on translated literature. He eats, sleeps, and composts in Jackson Heights, Queens.
