Paul W. Morris has held positions as a book editor at Viking Penguin and Managing Editor of Tricycle, as well as at Entertainment Weekly and many other publishers. From 2004 to 2011, he oversaw digital strategy, cultural programming, and marketing at BOMB Magazine, where he was General Manager. His writing has appeared in several anthologies, and his essay on Hermann Hesse was included as the introduction to a translation of Siddhartha. Formerly Director of Literary Programs at PEN America, he currently serves as Vice President of The Authors Guild, as well as consultant for the National Book Foundation, the Brooklyn Book Festival, Lit Crawl NYC, and the World Voices Festival of International Literature. He lives in New York City.
