Liara Tamani

Liara performed on our virtual stage for Seriously Entertaining on September 22, 2020, speaking on the evening’s theme, “All Good Things.” Watch it below. She also led a Student Storytelling Workshop for SpeakTogether at Williamsburg High School of Art & Technology during the month of April 2021 titled “In the Darkness You Can See the Stars.”

Liara Tamani lives in Houston, Texas. She holds an MFA in writing from Vermont College. She is the author of the acclaimed Calling My Name, which was a 2018 PEN America Literary Award Finalist and a 2018 SCBWI Golden Kite Finalist, and All the Things We Never Knew. Her most recent novel is What She Missed.
