Zaporah “Zora” Price is a writer and nonprofit professional based in Brooklyn. She coordinates educational programming for House of SpeakEasy, collaborating with authors and educators to develop creative writing workshops for high school students across the five boroughs.
Zora holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Yale College. She recently received a Master of Fine Arts in fiction from New York University, where she taught Afrosurrealist literature to undergraduates as an adjunct professor. Her work has received funding from the Mellon Foundation; she was a 2024 Periplus Fellowship finalist and was longlisted for the 2026 A Public Space Writing Fellowship. She has previously worked in an editorial and/or arts administrative capacity for One Story and Words Without Borders.
