Amy Dupcak

Amy led a Summer College Essay Writing Workshop for SpeakTogether at Talent Unlimited during the summer of 2022.

Amy Dupcak is the author of the short story collection Dust (2016) and co-editor of the prose and poetry anthology Words After Dark (2020). Her fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction have appeared in Entropy, Phoebe, Sonora Review, Pangyrus, District Lit, Hypertext, Passengers, American Writers Review, and several other journals. Formerly a music and culture journalist, she’s a longtime writing instructor at Writopia Lab in New York City, primarily working with teens, as well as an instructor and mentor for adults at The Writer’s Rock. She has also taught with Medley, 826NYC, and House of SpeakEasy. Amy is the Fiction Editor (and soon-to-be Interim Editor-and-Chief) of Cagibi and loves editing lines ’til they sing.
