About Mia
Mia Chung is an award-winning playwright. Her work includes Catch as Catch Can; Ball in the Air; Double Take; This Exquisite Corpse; and You for Me for You (which was also published by Bloomsbury Methuen). Chung’s awards, commissions, and residencies include: Clubbed Thumb, Hedgebrook, Helen Merrill, Huntington, Loewe Award in Music-Theatre, MTC/Sloan, NYTW, Playwrights’ Center/Jerome, Playwrights Horizons/Steinberg Charitable Trust Commission, Playwrights Realm, South Coast Rep, and SPACE/Ryder Farm. She is an alum of Ma-Yi Writers Lab and New Dramatists. She received a 2023 Whiting Award in Drama.
