Deborah Owusu-Appiah serves as the executive assistant at House of SpeakEasy, where she supports the executive director and contributes to various programming initiatives. She earned her degree from the New York University Gallatin School of Individualized Study, majoring in historical fiction with a concentration in narratives about migration and displacement. Her professional journey includes roles at Scholastic, David Zwirner, and the Strand on the Upper West Side.
