Alex Ulloa is a writer and creative writing teacher living in Brooklyn, NY. He received his MFA in fiction from Columbia University where he was also awarded a creative writing teaching fellowship. He has taught in Brooklyn, NY at MEC and in Yerevan, Armenia at TUMO center. His work has been published in The Baffler and other publications and he is currently revising his first novel. Embracing his inner flaneur, he enjoys wandering parks, streets, and bridges; feeds and holds one-sided conversations with feral cats who, sadly, want little to do with him; habitually practices the harmonic minor scale; and mostly ignores the tinnitus he earned through years of playing guitar in absurdly loud bands.
